How to create an email address for my domain

1. Purchase a domain name.  For example.  If your business is called: Mike’s Hardware Store, you might consider purchasing a domain name like: mikeshardware.co.za, or mikes-hardware.co.za.  obsystems, will gladly assist you in finding a un-claimed domain name to fit your business.  If you like, you could also purchase the domain yourself, by going to: https://gridhost.co.za/domain-search/
2. Once you have your domain registered, you need to find someone that will host your emails for you.  obsystems.co.za have some great options here.  Just go to: https://obsystems.co.za/collections/web-hosting-packages. Choose the package that sounds right for you, and check it out. - Be sure to specify the name of your domain, as well as the email addresses you want them to create, on their checkout screen.
3. If you prefer, you can create your email addresses yourself using cPanel.  cPanel is a web based hosting control panel, where, amongst bother things, you can create your email addresses yourself.  OB Systems will send you your logon credentials to log-on to cPanel.

• Shopify is OB Systems preferred e-commerce platform, and is the platform that we will be using to build your store on.
• Shopify has various monthly packages starting with the base package of just $29.00/m, that is approximately R350.00/month.
• If you choose to develop your own Shopify store, Shopify will give you 14 days free trial period. - Just head on to: https://www.shopify.co.za/?ref=fbs to start your free trial.
• If you choose to let OB Systems build your Shopify store for you, your Shopify monthly subscription will only start once the store goes live.  This will give you enough time to configure the store, and too make sure everything is working as planned.
